Sports
Sports are an important part of the extra-curricular activities for many families at Community Christian School. They offer students the discipline of practice, the chance to work together as a team, the opportunity to show good sportsmanship and brotherly love, and to learn to handle successes and failures in a Christ-honoring manner. Girls volleyball is offered in the fall and both boys and girls basketball is offered in the winter. The highlight for both sports is a Cedar Rapids tournament, held over a weekend at the end of each respective season and attended by many of the school families.
