Solid Academics
CCS has a strong academic curriculum that is Biblically based and incorporates a Christian worldview. Our goal is to strive for excellence in each academic area of our curriculum. We use Bob Jones University Press for our core curriculum. Our small class sizes help us to teach to the needs of each student. Art, choir, music, band, PE and computer science enhance the learning of our core subjects.
Biblical Education
Our emphasis is on Christian education. Christian teachers, using a Bible-based curriculum, build a strong foundation of academics and Christian principles within students. This prepares students to examine their environment through a Christian worldview. Bible study is part of the daily curriculum and enhanced with daily prayer and a weekly chapel service. We use Bob Jones University Press and Summit Ministries for our Bible curriculum.

Christian Schools International Accredited
Community Christian School is fully accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI), and recognized by the state of Iowa to provide your child with foundational academics at every grade level to prepare them for future education in any scholastic setting. While we aim to ensure every child reaches their full potential academically, they are also taught that they can be successful in many different ways. There is no limitation to what they can accomplish or who they can become.

Daycare
Little Crusaders is a Christ driven center that offers care for Ages 3 up to school age children. The daycare is aligned with the school’s mission statement and seeks to function as an extension of the home and church by providing a Godly influence from a distinctly Biblical perspective.

Preschool
Community Christian School is state licensed preschool and has a 4 star rating in the Iowa Quality Rating System from the Department of Human Services. We incorporate all six areas of development that are a part of the Iowa Early Learning Standards. We offer a clean, safe environment where children can experience quality teaching and learning.

T-Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten is an awesome opportunity to build school readiness skills with an emphasis on social and emotional learning, and building stronger mathematics and literacy skills. This is a daily program that will be immersed with the kindergarten program. The younger students will learn and grow with the support of the older kindergarten classmates.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is the beginning of an exciting journey of learning and growing academically, physically, emotionally, and emotionally. Community Christian School offers a full day kindergarten program that focuses on a biblically based curriculum for math, science, reading, writing, social studies, and more.

Elementary
During these critical learning years, we provide excellent educational resources to parents and teachers with curriculum that focuses on core lessons with a biblical foundation for all subjects. Our small classroom sizes are ideal for students to learn and grow.

Middle School
Middle school is a major time of growth for adolescents. They are growing physically, socially, and spiritually. Creating a safe environment for them to grow, explore and learn from a Christian worldview will equip them to adjust and make wise choices in the future.

Jr. High
We take pride in compliments teachers from Fort Dodge Senior High have given about how academically, physically, and emotionally prepared our students are when they get to high school. The 7th/8th grade students are the primary student leaders of the school.

After School
The After School Program is for current Community Christian School students who need care after school. Our mission is to provide 4 year old preschool – 8th grade students with a safe, nurturing environment where each child can demonstrate Christian values, strengthen academic growth, and have fun after the school day ends.
Our Facility
We have great outdoor equipment for our students to play and grow on during their years at CCS, including a baseball field, swing sets, and outdoor basketball courts. Students can play volleyball, soccer, and other activities during recess while enjoying our safely fenced in recreational area.
Our facility is large, comprised of multiple levels to meet all of our daycare and academic needs. We have weekly chapels in our auditorium. This area is also used for band rehearsals and school performances including special events. Our gymnasium hosts school sports events, fundraisers, and food service needs. Thanks to our many supporters and amazing volunteers, we are able to maintain our facilities to provide an excellent education for students.
