Art
Lindsey Stephan, teacher
Our Art program provides students with the opportunity to explore their creativity while developing foundational artistic skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. Through hands-on projects and exposure to a variety of art styles and techniques, students learn to express themselves and appreciate the beauty of God’s creation.
An Art Show is held at the end of each school year for family and friends to come and view the amazing artwork created throughout the school year.
Art Club is also available to students in grades 5–8 who want to explore additional art techniques in a more focused setting.
Music
Kristy Fisher, teacher
Music is a powerful gift from God that allows us to express emotions, tell stories, and worship our Creator. Through music, students not only grow in creativity and discipline, but also deepen their understanding of how music can be used to glorify God and encourage others. Psalm 95:1 says, "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation."
Weekly choir is provided for students and includes two performances, one in the winter and one in the spring. From musical numbers to contemporary worship songs, students explore varieties of styles and genres each year to perform on stage.
A music history and theory course is also provide as a weekly class to students.
